Breakfast Sausage
Pork breakfast sausage easily made from scratch!

- 1 lb. raw ground pork
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp ground pepper
- 1/2 tsp ground sage
- 1/8 tsp dried marjoram
- 1/8 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 pinch ground cloves and ground nutmeg
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
Place raw ground pork in a bowl. Put maple syrup in a small bowl, then add the spices and stir. Pour the maple syrup spice mixture over pork. Mix together with your hands or a spoon.
Cook as desired. For breakfast sausage, shape into 8 patties and cook on medium heat in a skillet for approximately 6-7 minutes on each side.
