Pork breakfast sausage easily made from scratch!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb. raw ground pork
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground pepper
  • 1/2 tsp ground sage
  • 1/8 tsp dried marjoram
  • 1/8 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 pinch ground cloves and ground nutmeg
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup

Instructions
 

  • Place raw ground pork in a bowl. Put maple syrup in a small bowl, then add the spices and stir. Pour the maple syrup spice mixture over pork. Mix together with your hands or a spoon.
  • Cook as desired. For breakfast sausage, shape into 8 patties and cook on medium heat in a skillet for approximately 6-7 minutes on each side.
